The conference will take place at the Botanic Garden of Padua.

It is the oldest botanic garden in the world, founded in 1545 still situated at its original location, and covers an area of 22000 square meters.

Since 1997, the Botanic Garden is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its special collections and historical design. During the conference, the participants will be able to freely walk through the garden and visit the more than 6000 different plants in the garden, including those coming world-wide in the newly-opened biodiversity garden.
