Training sessions

Celonis

Duration: 3 hours
Location: Auditorium 82

Target group: Basic knowledge of Process Mining and practitioners
Trainer: Adrian Joas
Certificate: Credly Badges for Participants

Agenda:

Object-Centric Process Mining is the newest revolution in Process Mining and pioneered market leader Celonis. Unpack the evolution of Process Mining to Process Intelligence and understand how Process Mining has transitioned from a case-centric towards an end-to-end object-centric view on processes. Learn about the history and current state of science in Process Mining. After this training you will be able to:

  • Understand the core principles behind object-centric process mining.
  • Use the Objects and Events user interface to build object-centric data models.
  • Use the out-of-the-box Celonis objects and events for common processes and source systems.

SAP Signavio

Duration: 3 hours
Location: Room 19

Target group: new to process mining, basic knowledge on process mining, practitioner, enterprise / IT / business architects, practitioners in business process management, change management, program managers
Trainer: Gia-Thi Nguyen and Gregor Berg
Certificate: Paper or E-Badge

Agenda:

“For the love of process mining, we do not focus only on process mining”

SAP Business Transformation Management (= SAP Signavio + SAP LeanIX + more) holistic approach to deliver business transformation and continuous improvement | why it matters and how to apply it anywhere / anytime
Value Accelerators to start process mining (and more) activities in your organization
Vision of AI in both BPM and EA (not just genAI)

Apromore

Duration: 3 hours
Location: Room 16

Target group: Process analysts and managers with at least basic knowledge of process mining, basic knowledge of process modeling (BPMN), and basic knowledge of process performance measures.
Trainer: Marlon Dumas, Chief Product Officer, Apromore
Certificate: E-badge: Process Mining Analyst Certificate – What-If Analysis

Agenda:

In this training session, you will learn how to discover detailed and high-fidelity simulation models from event logs, which you can use as “digital twins” of your business process. You will also learn how to use these simulation models to test different types of change scenarios.

The class will be hands-on, based on a concrete example. We will share an event log with you. From this event log, we will discover a digital process twin, which we will then adjust to capture multiple what-if scenarios, including:

Automation: what is the impact of (partially) automating one or more tasks in the process?
Resource reallocation: What if we increase or decrease the number of resources of a Role?
Schedule adjustment: What if we change the schedule of resources?
Increased demand: what would happen if we get 20% more cases next week?
Changes in case distribution: What if we get more cases of type A and less cases of type B?
Adding tasks/controls: What would happen if we add an additional verification or approval step to the process?
Adding and adjusting external waiting times.

We will also show you how to compare the as-is process and the what-if scenarios using comparative variant analysis techniques.

Microsoft

Duration: 3 hours
Location: Room 18

Target group: Process Mining enthusiasts and practitioners who would like to get familiar with Power Automate Process Mining, the process mining part of Microsoft hyperautomation platform.
Trainer: Roel Schenk (Power CAT – Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft)

ARIS

Duration: 90 minutes
Location: Room 15

Target group: ICPM participants
Trainer: Dr. Julian Krumeich, Roland van de Ruit
Certificate: participation certificate

Showcase and demonstration session

Agenda:

How the ARIS Suite leverages AI to generate process models from SOPs and seamlessly blend them with process mining data to turn insights into business value:

  • The ARIS process intelligence suite converts text-based standard operating procedures (SOPs) into structured process models, utilizing the power of generative AI.
  • Extracting the relevant data from the underlying IT systems that support and implement the SOPs can easily be done with the help of out-of-the-box process accelerators.
  • By fusing the process model with the actual process data, you can gain deep process insights to uncover bottlenecks and improvement potential in your process and identify compliance issues.
  • All these insights can be seamlessly turned into business value by transforming the process using the ARIS Suite or achieving process excellence on a case-by-case basis using the Insight-to-Action component in ARIS.
