How to Start with Process Mining

Time: Wednesday Oct 16, at 15:30
Location: Auditorium 83

Organizer: Fluxicon
Presenters: Dr. Anne Rozinat

Process mining is like magic: You load your data, and the process mining tool automatically constructs a visual map that shows you how your process was performed. But how can you apply it in your day-to-day work? You need to know how to deal with complex processes, detect and fix data quality issues, and analyze your process with process mining.

In this introductory training, you will learn the basics of process mining:

  • Experience a typical process mining scenario step by step.
  • Learn simplification strategies and practice with a hands-on exercise.
  • Finally, we will discuss use cases for different industries and roles.

Bring your laptop! You learn most about process mining if you apply it yourself. This highly interactive training lets you follow all the steps on your computer. You will receive a training license for the process mining software Disco and training data sets. We recommend installing the software before you come to the training (see instructions below).
