The international Airport of Carrasco is located around 20 kilometers to the East from the engineering school (FING), UdelaR. It offers regional flights within Latin American main cities, such as Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Santiago de Chile, Lima, and Panamá, with airlines LATAM, Avianca, COPA, and international flights to the United States and Europe.

Montevideo has direct flights with Iberia and Air Europa to Madrid, with connections to other main cities such as Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Rome and Lisbon, and also connections with KLM, Air France, and Lufthansa via Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo to other main cities such as Amsterdam, Paris, Zurich, Munich, and London.
