Museo all’aperto Bilotti
As a main social event, a very nice walk will be organized by the outdoor museum Museo all’aperto Bilotti (MAB) located in Cosenza’s main street (transportation will be from and to the conference venue by bus). In 2019, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism declared the collection to be of “historical and artistic interest”, as it is composed of dozens of works by the major artists who interpret the various currents of contemporary art that run through the 20th century.
The social dinner is planned within the Cosenza Castle. It has a history that dates back to the 10th century, making it one of the oldest and most significant landmarks in the region. Originally built by the Byzantines, the castle was later expanded and fortified by the Normans in the 11th century. It continued to evolve under the Swabians, who added their own architectural flourishes, blending various styles into a unique and harmonious whole.
