Reaching Rende by plane
The nearest airport is Lamezia Terme Airport (SUF), approximately 60 Km from the University. There are trains and buses from Lamezia Terme Airport to Rende. The trip takes from one to two hours and the single fare ranges from 7 EUR to 30 EUR. Details are given below.
Train connection: visit www.trenitalia.com and search for a train from Lamezia Terme Aeroporto to Castiglione Cosentino.
Bus connection: offered by several companies, with departing time shown below (please, verify the departing time on the linked websites).
Reaching Rende by train
The nearest train station is Castiglione Cosentino and many trains are daily available from other Italian cities. Timetable details from www.trenitalia.com. Hotels in Quattromiglia are at walking distance from this Train station.
A bus stop is available just in front of the Train Station (see below “From Quattromiglia to the conference location”).
Reaching Rende by car
Drive on the A2 motorway and exit at Cosenza Nord – Rende, and you are in Quattromiglia, then follow the road signs indicating the directions to reach the University of Calabria in 5 minutes (route in gmaps here).
